If a clarinet story can be depressing. I’m playing the Carl Stamitz Concerto no. 3 for clarinet at my recital this Wednesday (kill me now). And I can’t get simple sixteenth note runs staccato for it! Honestly, they are so fucking easy, but I can not get my fingers to match the speed of my tongue! And now I’m upset because I have to slur two notes instead of just tonguing the whole thing and this is actually making me feel really upset and like an inadequate musician. And it’s not practicing because I’ve practiced that part a million times to get it to where it was now and I keep trying my hardest but I can’t do it an meh. I’m just really upset guys.
